It applies when you use our website, create or use an account, book a service, make a payment, purchase a product, contact support, submit a Partner or Career application, provide feedback, or otherwise interact with TalentAstro.

Depending on your interaction, we may collect:

• Spiritual booking details such as name, Gotra, Sankalp and family-member details.
• Astrology information such as date, time and place of birth.
• Account, order, transaction, payment-status and delivery information.
• Support communications, feedback, Partner and Career application information.
• Technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, cookie identifiers and security logs.

3. How and Why We Use Information

We may use information to create and manage accounts; process bookings and purchases; coordinate Pooja, Chadhava, consultation or fulfilment; process payments and refunds; deliver products; provide customer support; send necessary service updates; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain legal, tax and transaction records; improve the platform; respond to Partner and Career applications; and send marketing communications where consented to or otherwise permitted by law.

4. Spiritual-Service Information

Where a booking requires a name, Gotra, Sankalp or similar detail, the information may be shared with the temple, Pandit or other authorised person conducting or coordinating the service. Users should provide only the information necessary for the requested spiritual service and confirm they are authorised to provide information relating to family members.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

TalentAstro does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with authorised temples and spiritual-service partners; Pandits, Astrologers or Healers involved in a booking; payment processors; logistics providers; hosting and technology vendors; customer-support and communication providers; analytics or security providers; professional advisers; and government or law-enforcement authorities where legally required. These recipients receive only information relevant to their role.

6. Payments and Security

Payments may be processed by authorised third-party payment gateways. TalentAstro does not intentionally store sensitive authentication credentials such as UPI PINs, CVVs or full banking passwords. Payment providers process payment information according to their own legal and security obligations. TalentAstro uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to reduce unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, disclosure or loss; however, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep the website functioning, maintain sessions, remember preferences, improve performance, detect fraud and understand website usage. Where consent is legally required for optional analytics or advertising technologies, appropriate choices should be provided.

8. Communications

Users may receive booking, payment, security, fulfilment and support messages that are necessary to provide the requested service. Where applicable, users may also receive updates or promotions through email, SMS or WhatsApp. Promotional communications may be opted out of through the available unsubscribe mechanism or by contacting us.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or where retention is required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or regulatory purposes. Account deletion does not require deletion of records that TalentAstro is legally required to retain. Information no longer required may be securely deleted or anonymised.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law and relevant provisions being in force, users may request access to information about their personal data, correction or updating, eligible deletion, withdrawal of consent for consent-based processing, and other rights available under applicable Indian law. 11. Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their TalentAstro account and eligible personal information. Certain transaction, invoice, payment, fraud-prevention or statutory records may be retained where required by law. See our Data Deletion Policy for the request process.

12. Children’s Information

Paid bookings and purchases should be made by an adult or a person legally authorised to make the transaction. Where information relating to a child is voluntarily provided as part of a family Sankalp or service, the person providing it confirms they are authorised to do so.

13. Third-Party Links

TalentAstro may contain links to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and TalentAstro is not responsible for third-party practices outside our control.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology or legal obligations evolve. The latest version and revision date will be published on this page.
